Nazrul Haque Athar is an experienced Engineering Manager currently working at Booking.com, where he specializes in real-time data systems, machine learning, computer vision, and robotics. With over six years of relevant experience, he has a proven track record of developing and implementing high load real-time services and machine learning recommendation systems. Nazrul's interest in the field of robotics led him to work on the application of deep learning in robotic vision for his Master's thesis under the supervision of Prof. Madhava Krishna. During his tenure as a Software Engineer at Booking.com, Nazrul has demonstrated his ability to work on complex projects and deliver results that meet or exceed expectations. In addition to his current role, Nazrul has also worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Works Applications, where he developed a "Project Management System" for the E-commerce department of the company. He has also served as a Mentor at Sugar Labs for the Google Summer of Code project "Web Collaboration Redesign." His responsibilities included encouraging participation with the community, selecting from a pool of applicants, providing guidance to developers, and evaluating the project. Nazrul holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) and MS by Research in Computer Science from the International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT). He has also completed his Senior Secondary education from Sunbeam School, Varuna - Varanasi, and his Secondary education from Delhi Public School - Varanasi.
